「広島の少女の折鶴/Paper Cranes」を英語で！
1945年8月6日に広島に原爆/atomic bombが投下されました。そのときの被爆による白血病によって犠牲になった少女、佐々木禎子さんは原爆の子の像/Child of Atomic Bombのモデルになりました。
この歌は彼女のエピソードを元に1990年に作られた歌です。モンゴル人によって作られ、オユンナ/OYUNAA/ОЮУНААという女性歌手によってモンゴル語で歌われました。
その英語版も歌われていて、三省堂/SANSEIDOの英語教科書・ニュークラウン/New Crown・中三用のLesson 4 "The Story of Sadako"と関連付けて英語の歌として紹介されています。
