第1回 公園deSalsa presented by ツイッターガールズ

ツイッターガールズ全員の「カミサマ、どうぞ26日はいいお天気で、代々木公園だけ
でいいので暖かな日にしてください」という祈りが通じたのか、本日は「晴天」であり、
「（日の当たるところは）暖かい」日ではありましたが、私たち、うかつにも
「北風はなしにしてください」という一言をお祈りに入れるのを忘れていました
ということで、DJブース（キャンプテーブル）が吹き飛びそうなエライ北風がびゅう
びゅう吹く中で、公園deSalsaを開催することになったのですが……。
結果は
参加者 57名（うち2名は代理募金）
募金額 66,500円
でした！ この寒い中、こんなに多くの方々が集まってくださったことに本当に感謝します。
心からお礼を申し上げます。
床（？）はすべらなくて、いろんな技はできないし、冷たい風で、せっかくの曲が
飛んでしまう。物足りない方は大勢おられたと思います。
そのことは本当に申し訳なかったと思います。
でも、太陽
の下（超寒かったけど）、大好きなサルサがかかり、
プロインストラクターのレッスンもあり、友達に会って、持ち寄りの
お酒を飲み、お菓子を好きにつまんで、おしゃべりして……。
そして東北の被災地にその幸せ
をおすそわけできたことを、
思うように踊れなかったことの埋め合わせだと思っていただけた
なら何よりも嬉しいです。
皆様の義援金は、ツイッターガールズのまいとあつこが本日、振込みを
行ってきました。

次回は
4月23日（土）の開催（雨天順延24日）を予定しています。
今度こそ、「晴れて、暖かで、北風の吹かない日」になると思いますので、ぜひぜひおいでください。

Park de Salsa presented by Twitter Girls
Party Report!
The sky was blue, the sun shining like a new penny, birds (*crows)
singing (*croaking) over our head....what a perfect day for picnic
and Salsa at a park....except THAT BLOODY WIND!!
We Twitter Girls were cautious enough to pray to whatever the
god (we aren't really sure which god) so that He/She could
make the day fine and relatively warm one, but had forgotten to add
"NO WIND PLEASE" to that prayer. Sorry about that.
So, unfortunately, we had to have our first Park de Salsa party
in the middle of the blizzard like those in Siberia. However,
57 brave people found their way to our party spot next to
the deserted pond with the famous fountain ( not functioning
at the moment)...
But the truth is, despite the cold weather, we had a really
really lovely time. The party was magical. Happy, friendly faces everywhere.
Good rum, good wine, tequila......and Salsa!! What else can one ask for on
a Saturday afternoon!?
Thank you all who came to the party and we promise the next party
won't be freezing one. Hope you haven't got cold....do take care.
The money collected was 66,500 yen in total and it was
immediately transfered to the Japanese Red Cross account.

Please make sure to mark the 23rd April (Sat) on your diary, coz it's
the day of Park de Salsa vol.2!!
We will update the details later on on this blog but basically, same place, same time.
